Having delved into travel and landscape photography, I was always slave to the lighting conditions I found myself in. But with product photography, I was able to explore the magical world of a controlled "studio" environment. Where I could control the type, location, direction and intensity of light. As a result I can "sculpt" the light to create a piece of visual art.
